stretch marks

When your skin stretches or shrinks very quickly it develops a scar tissue. The rapid change causes the collagen and elastin to rupture and stop supporting the skin. The skin heals but the stretch marks appear. At early stages stretch marks might be pink, red, purple, red-brown, depending on skin type. Early stages might be itchy and feel slightly raised. They fade and get narrow with time.
